KLM – Ailo

Ailo is based on research collected from KLM since February 2017, it was found that KLM had an issue of disconnection between employees located in different physical environments. As a result of these findings we designed Ailo to facilitate a creative office tool that is able to be customized for the specific employer needs in every KLM departments.

Ailo is a concept campaign for ‘the winning way of working’, which aims to create a holistic workplace design. The central goal of Ailo is to create an atmosphere where KLM employees are able to experience flexible and customizable environments, disconnection between colleagues and locations is reduced, and plant health benefits in the office are promoted.

The final design solution (Ailo) is a physical structure that can be installed in the ceiling of any work place. It has multiple functions and can be used as a room separator, a ceiling piece or as a table for a break or casual business meeting. Ailo makes any space flexible and fits user needs. Reframe your space with Ailo.

KLM – Data Lighting

KLM’s Data center is 24 years old. The lighting systems are aged and outdated. Hence, there arises a need to create a smart yet sustainable lighting in accordance to the preference of the end users. Addressing this issue, we created a web application consisting of the Generator and the Circularity Passport. The Generator gives a solution for the suitable lighting system according to the desire of the users whereas the Circularity Passport displays how the produced solution can be reclaimed.

The prototype for the Generator and Circularity Passport can be found here.

Reclaim Experience

In the recent years, Schiphol airport has witnessed a considerable increase in the number of arriving passengers, gradually challenging its baggage reclaim capacity and comfortability. In order to maintain its status as a leading airport and meet long term demand, Schiphol Airport raised the question of how the baggage reclaim can be a part of the overall positive flight experience. Targeting this issue, we developed Fline. a family of chatbots who provide passengers a personalised assistance in every of their steps relieving their baggage worries.
