Westergasfabriek

The team of Westergasfabriek created an interactive multimedia GPS game called Westerquest. With the use of a GPS enabled smartphone the player has to run around the park to find lightning coins, in order to defeat the blumblum brothers that killed the light around the park. The main goal of the game is to attract more 18-25 year olds to the park in a playful way.

Spinoza

Spinoza is a Dalton school in Amsterdam-South. It is a school that aims for creativity and culture, and gives students the freedom in the ways they learn. The team created an online, step-by-step guide that guides students in creating a final project for high school (“profielwerkstuk”). It is not only a place for students to get started and find inspiration, but also a place for teachers, where tips are shown on how to help students. Following six steps, the student can be guided through the entire process of creating a big final project.

Interactive projection at Trouw

For the second projection ever of the MediaLAB Amsterdam, a small team of students worked with creative producer Jan Scholte and project manager Gijs Gootjes to produce an interactive projection for the museum night of Amsterdam in 2009.
Content was provided by a number of promising students from Dutch art and design academies, and the technical partner for this project was Amsterdam based PhantaVision.
They designed a two way app for a 3D Urban Projection partly it’s a canvas for animation designed for this particular facade, part the facade is a synthesizer, and it can be played interactively by the people lining up to get in Club TrouwAmsterdam.
