Prototyping Workshop

“Putting together a prototype will force you to think through the details and user experience of your product ideas. Once you have a prototype, you’ll be able to show it to people and collect detailed feedback.”

Today at the MediaLAB Amsterdam we had the Prototyping Workshop. We took some time to review what prototypes are,  different types like Low-Fidelity and High Fidelity Prototypes. Then the students worked on a paper-prototype to test one concept from their projects. Here are some of the cool prototypes the teams built and tested within very few minutes!!!

We also took a look at other tools that can be handy when building prototypes whether they are for web applications, phone apps or hardware interfaces.

Finally, we built a small circuit with Arduino in order to start to get familiar with its programming environment and electronic circuits. The Games 4 Therapy team has already been building things with Arduino and maybe some of the other teams will also need it later on.
