After setting our sprint goals we started with the desk research. We chose our target audience as the “frequent flyer”. This is the economic traveller who flies often. We looked at the characteristics, frictions, emotions and gains of the frequent flyer. We decided which friction we wanted to relieve to get more specific in our concept.
With these insights we started a brainstorm. We used different kind of methods. First method was the C-sketch. In this brainstorm method you have to draw three concepts in 15 minutes. Then, everyone had 5 minutes to make some additions to the concept of the others.
The second method is called crisis thinking. We build up two scenarios and based on the these scenarios we came up with different solutions. It is a good and fun way to think out of the box.
We voted for the two best concepts. We therefore divided our team in two and worked on these different concepts.
