Sprint 5

The sprint goal for this sprint was:

By building and testing a high-fi prototype which exists of an application and a screen, we are going to test the usability

After we chose which concept were going to work on, were going to build this into a high-fi prototype. Within this sprint we had different interviews with experts. One of them was with a colleague of Mijksenaar. Mijskenaar designed the icons in Schiphol Airport. Another interview was with someone who works within the department passenger services. She gave some very interesting recommendations about the content were going to show.

By designing, coding and creating we built the concept. In the end of this sprint we tested the concept in a simulated context.

Sprint 4

This sprint we had a mini sprint goal until the brainstorm session. After that we created a sprint goal until the end of sprint 4:

 MINI SPRINT GOAL:
We are going to prepare a brainstorm session about our concept, using “raw” insights filtered by our criteria’s, in order to know what the concept would look like on a bigger scope.

SPRINT GOAL :
We want to further develop the concept by creating a mid fi prototype that is testable at the review session, and get feedback from experts on it.
After the test from previous sprint we got some very interesting results. Some of these results we had to integrate in our process. Therefore we held a new brainstorm about these insights. We came up with a very interesting new concept. This concept we presented to the stakeholders during the translate session. Though, we felt like there was missing something in the concept. Therefore we had a new brainstorm session, with the feedback in mind.

Based on that brainstorm we had two concepts to show at the review session. At this review session an expert, graduated on a master in persuasive design, attended. After the review session we had to choose one of the concepts to work further with. Based on the feedback we got, we chose to work with a combination of the concepts.
In the next sprint we are going to create a high fi prototype and test this prototype.

Peer Pitches & Review

To reach our sprint goal we had to make a prototype based on our concept. Based on the feedback from the translate session, we elaborated the concept.  We worked on two tangible prototypes.

During the peer pitches we did an experiment with the peers from MediaLAB to give a clear feeling of our problem.  From our peers we got different kind of feedback points, that we took into account before the review session.

At the review session different stakeholders were involved. We told them about the feedback we got from our peers and ask them what their ideas were about the concept to take with us in the next sprint.

Full of new motivation we’re beginning our new sprint!
