During our research, we looked for previous project related with sustainability, innovativity, and the use of light, as well as the relationship with people’s moods.
One of them is TheFunTheory.com, an initiative of Volkswagen to support ideas and inventions designed to change people’s behaviour for the better. Some examples are the Piano staircase, the World’s deepest bin, or the Bottle Bank Arcade machine:
We also found a lot of references on website articles and personal blogs. Some of them are take a more artistic approach, focusing on the aesthetic elements and colors; for example, this installation with 6000 light bulb which reacts to movement. On the other hand, other projects look at the practical side and the daily use of their ideas.
