Creating the Pixel map for the projection mapping was not an easy job specially when the blue print that we were using was from 1887.
The past few days have been very hectic and very exciting. From getting the blue prints of the church to creating the pixel map for the visuals and testing the technical setup, all at the same time. In all, things are turning out quite well for our installation which begin on the opening night of the Amsterdam Light Festival, i.e. 6th December and we will run the show live on the 7th & 8th December. The video loop of the installation will be showcased on the church through the next week.
We are glad to be working with visual artists Frouke ten Velden and Excelsior Visuals to create mind blowing affects and animations that will be projected on the church.
Together with Beamsystems we did a checkup if the concept was strong enough. They gave us some great advice, to create more suspense and add constant visual animations
From Friday December 6th till Sunday December 8th we will discover the “Darkside” of Amsterdam through our installation at the Mozes and Aaron Church, Waterlooplein.
Come and visit us and show us your Dark Side!
